Redevelopment and New Development Ramp Up

Essex was engaged to operate a well-located, but older small independent hotel in downtown Rochester and after maximizing revenues and operating cash flow over four years, Essex reviewed expansion and renovation options for the owner and spearheaded a complete redevelopment of the site.

Fairfield Inn & Suites - Geneva NY

New Development Ramp-Up and Superior Return on Partner Investment

Essex served as a key member of the development and ownership team formed to develop an upper midscale hotel located in the popular Finger Lakes wine region of upstate NY and situated next to a small college.

Hampton Inn & Suites - Plattsburgh NY

Essex Management Takeover and Renovation

In 2021 Essex was awarded management of a previously owner-operated hotel located in a market with strong seasonal demand. The hotel was in the middle of a major owner-managed 14-year Refresh Renovation.  Essex took over the renovation and completed the project within 5 months.

Hampton Inn - Orlando Lake Buena Vista FL

In 2021 Essex was awarded management and replaced a third-party management company at a recently renovated Hampton Inn (1998) located in an established market with significant and growing new hotel supply surrounding Disney World. After assessing the market and pricing strategy, Essex implemented an improved Revenue Management Strategy.
